Barcombe Nurseries veg box scheme and farm is located in East Sussex four miles west of historic Lewes and twelve miles north of Brighton and Hove nestled in the beautiful South Downs country side.
We aim to provide you with the best, seasonal veg boxes throughout the year, filled with the freshest produce from our Sussex farm, along with other local and sustainably sourced organic fruit and veg. This is all brought to you in the most environmentally conscious way, with reusable and compostable packaging and zero emission deliveries.
Barcombe Nurseries started in 1997. Adrian Halstead, always a keen allotment gardener, took a leap of faith and bought the 12 acre farm in rural Barcombe. He then began the conversion to organic status and set up as a veg box scheme delivering to the local area.
