Our market garden was established in 2018/19 on the edge of mature woodland in Hatton of Fintray.
Concerned about the falling standards of food and the damage to the planet and people’s health we wanted to do things differently.
We run on the principles that soil is valuable and all growing methods should reflect this. Natural resistance to pests and disease is achieved through creating biodiversity within our ecosystems and not using any chemical applications. We keep our food production footprint low by generating power through our off grid solar panels, managing our water sensibly and freshly harvesting veg for local distribution.
This year we have added rare breed forest raised pigs to our landscape to continue regenerating the soil and providing health and diversity to the land.
