Kerry is currently the co-ordinator for Growing Communities’ farmers’ market in Hackney which she set up for Growing Communities in 2003. Until recently she ran the 3 year Grown in Dagenham project at Dagenham farm, having successfully fundraised for the Big Lottery funding for the project and the Recipe for Life project which also ran at the farm working with families on low incomes and an intergenerational project until July 2019. Kerry worked with Barking and Dagenham Council to secure the Dagenham Farm site for Growing Communities and has successfully brought over £500,000 of funding to support setting up the farm and its community outreach programme since 2012. She also works on policy issues for Growing Communities including our strategic work with the Landworkers’ Alliance and Sustain.
