Lee Greens is a community- led Veg Bag Scheme and relies on its dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.
We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about locally sourced organic vegetables, who and are keen to join us in challenging existing food channels with a passion to make a difference.
Volunteering opportunities vary depending on how many hours you’d like to commit. It could involve anything from the following: helping us at foodie events (working on a stall), delivering leaflets in the local area, packing veg into bags, delivering veg to our pick-up points, administrative tasks, looking for partnership opportunities, or simply helping us spread the word about our scheme.
What you’ll get out of it
You will gain experience of working within a new social enterprise, the first of its kind in the local area. You will meet and work with local people, bringing real positive change to the community and the way we source and eat food.
Whether you want to gain experience for your CV or want to meet people in your community, there’s plenty of volunteering opportunities so get in touch!
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us about your skills and experience and the hours you have to commit to the Veg Bag scheme.
